Who we are
Dominion AI Agency is a trade name (d/b/a) used by Dominion Digital Group, a Black-owned company in East Texas that Maurice Johnson founded in 2022.
We are a small AI automation agency, not a software company. We do not sell you a login. We set up AI receptionists and voice agents, website chat and voice widgets, appointment booking, CRM pipelines with email follow-up, review requests and websites for small businesses, and then we keep them running.
Maurice sets up each system. When you talk to us about your business, you are talking to the person who will configure your agent.
Why our own phone line is answered by AI
It would be strange to sell AI receptionists and then send our own calls to voicemail. Our main line is answered around the clock by an AI receptionist built the same way as the ones we set up for clients.
That gives you something a sales page cannot: a working sample you can test on your own terms. Call at an odd hour. Ask it something off script. Notice what it does well and where it hands off. If you would not want something like it answering your customers, you have learned that for free.

Why we build on HighLevel

Building on an established platform rather than a homemade tool means your setup is not a mystery only one person understands. The platform has its own documentation and support, and the pieces it uses are standard.

Texting, stated up front
Some of what we set up depends on business texting, which requires carrier registration. Ours is not approved yet, so we say so on every page that mentions it rather than in fine print.
Texting is not live yet. Voice works today. Text messages (missed call text back, text reminders and texted review requests) switch on once carrier approval clears; that approval is the A2P 10DLC registration US carriers require for business texting from a regular local number. Everything else, including the AI answering calls and email follow-up, works today.
